May is Speech and Hearing Awareness Month! We invite you to celebrate and join in the Dress Loud Challenge in May by wearing your loudest, wildest and wackiest shirts, ties or other clothing. Take a photo or video and share with us by tagging us on social media and use the hashtag #VOICEDressLoud. Three winners of an Amazon gift card will be announced in May.

In consideration of the challenges faced by students and families during this time, we are pleased to announce that the deadline for applications for the scholarship has been extended to June 30, 2020.
Due to the precautions around Covid-19 and the cancellation of all large events, it is with regret that the VOICE Board of Directors has decided to postpone the Annual VOICE conference on May 2/3, 2020. We have secured a new date of October 2/3, 2020.
We will be in touch in regards to our venue as we reach out to our speaker and presenters to see if they are able to commit to our new date.
Similarly, we have to cancel the Great Wolf Lodge event this year. We will let you know if there will be a new date later in the year or if we will have to wait until June 2021.

Due to COVID-19 Infant Hearing Screenings in Ontario have been cancelled and are not being performed in hospitals before a newborn is discharged. Early detection is vital to early intervention.
