Join us for a talk by actor, writer and hearing health advocate Gael Hannan. The talk will focus on the consequences of hearing loss on relationships, work and raising children. She will describe coming to grips with how to deal with hearing loss in everyday life, and share her thoughts about our hate-love relationship with technology.
Gael Hannan is a popular public speaker who grew up with a progressive hearing loss that is now severe-to-profound. She is a CI-user and known among other things for her one-woman show “Unheard Voices”, the book “The Way I Hear It” and her columns at hearinghealthmatters.org where she serves as Assistant Editor.
Captioning will be available.
