Join us for a webinar about Individual Education Plans (IEP) presented by Jane Peters.
An IEP is a written plan describing the special education program and/or services required by a particular student, based on a thorough assessment of the student's strengths and needs that affect the student's ability to learn and demonstrate learning, as described in An Introduction to Special Education in Ontario.
Jane Peters, LSLS Cert. AVEd, presents workshops to support Itinerant teachers of children who are Deaf and hard of hearing, and has worked with the developers of the MVL/GRMMR programme. She mentors teachers and families to ensure children who are Deaf and hard of hearing are appropriately accommodated in their school setting, and works one on one with families who have chosen an auditory/oral, technology approach for their child.
Captioning will be available.
